Each year SMF hosts a week of camp. There's always lots of fun, food, and fellowship. But not just any fellowship. It's the kind that comes only from a shared emphasis on the Word of God. Since all of those in attendance have previously expressed a commitment to memorizing God's Word by enrolling in the SMF program, the atmosphere is truly something you have to experience to understand. In addition to the "normal" camp activities, certain features are sure to bless, including Morning Watch and large games of "Tic-Tac-Know."

Update: Miracle Camp 2010!

Scripture Memory Fellowship invites all memorizers to come to our family camp this summer! We will be meeting at Purley Gates Retreat, Mt. Vernon, TX from June 28 - July 2, 2010. Camp opens with the noon meal on Monday and is over Friday at 1:00 PM. Maps and other information will be mailed upon receipt of your reservation form. (NOTE: If you have not received our most recent Memorizer, Spring 2010, and its reservation form, then you should Contact Us by another means to let us know you're interested.)

SMF Miracle Camp is for all ages, from infants to grandparents! Adults stay in the hotel/lodge while children and teens will be staying in the dorms with their counselors. We also have housing facilities for families so mom, dad, and children can stay together. Children three years old or younger may attend the week of Camp for free. Memorizers over three but under eighteen may attend for $50.00. Adults pay $175.00. (Costs include meals, lodging, and all activities.) Special offer: Come ready to recite your entire memory book, and Camp is free!

Come and join us for an evening hayride, s'mores by the fireside, horseback rigding, and swimming in the pool on the 450 foor long waterslide! We sing, study the Bible, and leave Camp praising the Lord, for it is He alone who satisfies the longing heart and meets the deepest needs of hungry souls.

In order to attend Miracle Camp, each memorizer must recite two assignments from the book they memorized this year (first-time comers are encouraged, but not required, to memorize and recite).
